News: Live-Action Gintama 2 Film Surpasses 3 Billion Yen

Warner Bros. released a new behind-the-scenes video on Friday for Gintama 2: Okite wa Yaburu Tame ni Koso Aru (The Law is Surely There to be Broken), the second live-action film based on Hideaki Sorachi’s Gintama manga, to commemorate that the film has earned more than 3 billion yen (about US$26.77 million).
The film had earned more than 2.5 billion yen (about US$22.6 million) after 19 days on September 4. The film reached the 2.5 billion yen mark two days faster than the first film, which reached the amount after 21 days.
