Hi everyone!
On the 25 of March it turns out that My Hero Academia has revealed the title and story! A stage presentation at AnimeJapan 2018 revealed on Sunday that the My Hero Academia THE MOVIE anime film will open in Japan on August 3. The film’s title will be My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: Futari no Hero (My Hero Academia the Movie: The Two Heroes). The event also revealed a new visual for the film drawn by character designer Yoshihiko Umakoshi.
The film will take place “overseas,” on a giant manmade floating movable city called “I Island.” The film will take place after the Final Exam Arc, during “another summer” during the “Forest Training Arc.” In addition, the film will show the “younger days” of All-Might.
The third television anime season based on the manga will premiere on April 7, and will remain in the 5:30 p.m. timeslot on Saturdays that the second season held on YTV, NTV, and 27 other network affiliates. Funimation will stream the English dub of the third season on the same day that the series will premiere in Japan. Crunchyroll and Hulu will stream the series with English subtitles. The first six episodes of the series will be available with simultaneous dubs. The season is listed with 25 episodes.
