Originally planned for sometime in 2018, Steins;Gate fans will have to wait a little longer for the western release of the Steins;Gate Elite visual novel. Spike Chunsoft announced a delay for the enhanced version at Anime Expo, pushing the North American and European release back to an early 2019 window.
Complete with full animation from the TV anime, new sequences, and more, Steins;Gate Elite will be available for PS4 and PC, as well as Nintendo Switch. The former versions pack in an HD remake of additional story collection Steins;Gate Phenogram, and the Switch version comes with series creator Chiyomaru Shikura’s old school-style Steins;Gate 8-bit.
