Doucet calls this survey “Operation Tell Valve All the things” and Valve does often respond to the results, Doucet estimates that half of the issues developers have brought up in the last survey have been resolved with specific updates from Steam. But with the Steam discoverability bug, the revenue split changed and with the new competition from Epic Games Stores, there’s a lot to be done.

Other issues desires for a fairer revenue share and more extensive curation while developers at different revenue tiers tend to emphasise those issues to different degrees, they all rank them the same.
