Netflix U.S. announced on Wednesday that it will debut Godzilla: The Planet Eater (Godzilla: Hoshi wo Kū Mono), the third and final film in the Godzilla anime film trilogy, on January 9. Netflix will also debut a separate film with the title Godzilla on January 1, but it did not specify which one.
Godzilla: The Planet Eater opened in 158 Japanese theaters on November 9 and ranked #6 in its opening weekend.
